Reporting a bug well

Three things turn a report into a fix, and all of them are quick to write down:

  • The browser and version you were using, and whether it was a phone or a computer.
  • What you did just before it went wrong, in the order you did it.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.

If the browser printed anything red in its developer console, paste that in too — it usually points straight at the cause.
