The recorder is free to use, for anything you like, including work you are paid for. There is no licence to buy and no attribution to give.

No warranty

It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It is still being built and tested, so please do not rely on it for a recording you cannot afford to lose.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the author is not liable for any loss arising from use of the recorder — including lost recordings. Because nothing is uploaded, nothing can be restored for you: the file you download is the only copy there will ever be.

What you record is yours

You keep every right to your audio. Nothing here claims a licence over it, because nothing here ever receives it — the privacy page explains how that works.

Changes

These terms may change as the recorder grows. The version on this page is the one that applies, and continuing to use the tool means accepting it.
