Privacy
The short version: your recordings are never sent anywhere, and nothing about you is collected.
Your microphone audio
When you press record, the browser asks for permission to use your microphone. The audio it captures is held in the memory of the tab, mixed there, and encoded into a file there. It is never transmitted, never written to a database and never seen by anyone but you. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser's site settings.
What is stored
Nothing. There is no account, and your work is not saved between visits — a refresh, a crash or a closed window ends the session and discards the audio with it. Export your file as soon as the take is good, because no copy exists anywhere else and nothing can be recovered for you after the fact.
Cookies, tracking and third parties
The application sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Its fonts are served from this domain rather than fetched from a font provider, so simply opening the page does not announce your visit to anyone else. The company hosting the site may keep ordinary server access logs, as any web host does.
Your rights over your audio
You keep every right to whatever you record. Nothing here claims a licence over your audio, because nothing here ever receives it. There is also no data of yours to request, correct or delete — see the terms for the rest of the arrangement.
